Police Catch Bangor Break In Suspect

Police on Friday morning arrested a man who left an adult mental care facility and then broke into a Van Buren County home. The sheriffs department says that it happened around seven AM in the 34 thousand block of County Road 687 in Bangor Township. A woman locked herself in a bedroom and called police when she saw the suspect coming in. By the time deputies arrived, the man had fled, but he was found in a wooded area not far away a short time later. The 35 year old man had earlier gone missing from a nearby mental facility. He's in the Van Buren County Jail on charges of home invasion.
