The annual Pokagon Pow Wow is coming up this Labor Day. On September first and second, the tribe will be celebrating its heritage and community at its Rodgers Lake campus on Sink Road in Dowagiac. Pokagon spokesperson Paige Risser:
But, she says the event is open to everyone, and the tribe wants to see non members show up. There will be a variety of dance and drum competitions taking place at this year's pow wow, and you can buy all sorts of crafts and foods. Admission and parking will be free.
