The Powerball Lottery game will have a pretty big jackpot this weekend. The top prize in Saturday's game will be 253 million dollars. That's the second highest jackpot of the year, says Andi Brancato, with the Michigan Lottery. She tells us that tickets sales soar when the prizes get this large:
So, she says that we can expect the jackpot to jump again pretty quick if no one wins this Saturday. The odds of getting all the numbers in the Powerball game are about 175 million to one. The lump sum payment on the jackpot, if anyone wins it, will be 170 point five million dollars.
