Woman Charged With Embezzling From Senior Center

A Bridgman woman has been charged with embezzlement for stealing money from the River Valley Senior Citizen Center while serving as its director. 53 year old Janet Ott was arrested in July. Prosecutors say that she submitted false reimbursement receipts while working at the senior center between 2010 and 2012. The charge is embezzlement, between one and 20 thousand dollars. Ott's currently free on bond, and a trial date has not yet been set.
