After winning the Democratic primary for the 79th State House district by a couple of hundred votes on Tuesday, Saint Joseph's Jim Hahn says that he's prepared to go up against Al Pscholka in November. Hahn tells us that he thinks the people of Berrien County are starting to get a bit tired of the recent agenda of Republicans in Lansing:
Hahn says that he'll fight for worker and women's rights, as well as the environment, and especially public education. Regarding the turnout for Democrats in this week's primary -- Hahn thinks that more people would have crossed party lines to vote in the Democratic primary if it hadn't been for the fact that a lot was going on with the Republican side.
