The Blossomtime Festival will embark upon a wonderful year ahead full of glitz and glamour as they salute the movies. Organizers chose the theme "A Ticket to the Movies”. Blossomtime will celebrate its 107th year and began its season with nearly 100 people from 22 communities in attendance at the Kick-Off Celebration Monday evening at the Waterfront Restaurant in Coloma. Each community will soon open their doors to endless possibilities as they each create their own “Movie Themes” for their community pageants and float designs. The 2012 Grand Floral Parade Award winners were also honored on Monday.
