Gas Prices Up Slightly

We're paying a little bit more for gasoline in southwest Michigan than a week ago. Triple-A Michigan says our average statewide price is $3.61 a gallon, while analyst Tribly Lundberg says the national average is up ten cents to $3.51. She adds that where prices go from here is anyone's guess.

Listen:

Locally, Triple-A says the average in Benton Harbor and St. Joseph is $3.53 per gallon, while GasBuddy.com has the average in South Haven at the same mark. The average across Michigan is up just over two-cents from last week and higher by 18-cents over the past month. If you live close enough to the Indiana border, gasoline in South Bend is about 20-cents per gallon cheaper.
