A voluntary recall of two onion products is underway from Spartan Stores. The onions are from a processor linked to listeria contamination in California. The chain is recalling its deli Three Bean Salad and Broccoli Stir Fry from the produce department, both processed between July 13 and Thursday. If you've got those items, you're advised to either throw it away or bring it back to the store where you bought it, which locally would be Hardings or Rogers Foodland, for a full refund. In a statement, Spartan officials say they are not aware of any illnesses associated with the products, but say if you're worried about it, call your doctor.
