Men Claiming To Be Cops Rob Home



According to the Berrien County Sheriffs Department, two men claiming to be police officers forced their way into a Watervliet Township home on Wednesday night, and robbed the place. The incident occurred in the five thousand block of M 140. Police say that the men appeared at the door, at first telling the home's residents that they were cops. Once they got in, they held the victims for a while, and then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The first suspect is described as being in his 50s -- with a receding hairline, a goatee, a large build, and standing about six foot three, weighing around 270 pounds. The second suspect is in his 40s, has dark hair, a slender build, and stands about six feet tall, weighing around 180 pounds. Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call the Berrien County Sheriffs Department.
