The Michigan Department of Transportation has posted a new video on its YouTube page about traffic fatalities. It asks the man on the street how many people die each year in traffic crashes, and tells us that the answer nationally is 34 thousand, with about 900 in Michigan. MDOT's Nick Schirripa says that the goal of the video is to find a way to reduce traffic fatalities in Michigan to zero:
