State Police Blame Texting While Driving In Fatal Crash

A 32-year-old Benton Harbor woman was killed Monday after rolling her car in Coloma. Michigan State Police say they believe Jennifer Hollomon was texting while behind the wheel and that's what caused her to lose control on Hennesey Road near Angling Road. She was airlifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, where she was pronounced dead a short time after arriving. Troopers say speed and alcohol were not factors in the fatal accident.
