Trial Of Woman In Death Of Autistic Son Delayed Until August

A judge in Van Buren County is delaying a hearing for a mother accused of killing her adult autistic son. Forty-two-year-old Yodi Jackson of Grand Junction faces felony murder and second degree vulnerable adult abuse charges. Her attorney requested her hearing be pushed back to August 15 after it had been set to start in the past several days. State police ruled 25-year-old Chad Jackson's death a homicide, but they have not released any details. Yodi Jackson is free on bond.
