BH Schools Privatizing More Services

The Benton Harbor School Board this week voted to privatize some more support services. This time, it's the lunchroom supervisors, and they'll now be working directly for Sodexo, the same company that's been contracted to provide janitors and maintenance workers. The vote Wednesday was unanimous, and it should affect about 40 part time employees. All of the current lunchroom supervisors will be interviewed to get their old jobs back with Sodexo so that there's no change in staffing.
