Cheapest Gasoline In Michigan Is In Berrien County

Believe it or not, we've got the lowest gas prices in the state in Berrien County. Of the markets it surveys, Triple-A Michigan puts the lowest price in Benton Harbor at $3.49 a gallon, while GasBuddy.com has Niles at the state's cheapest spot at $3.20 per gallon. There are some stations in the Detroit area selling gas for upwards of $3.80 per gallon. Triple-A says the statewide average is $3.55, up three cents from last week but down 23-cents from a year ago. GasBuddy's Michigan average is $3.53, down seven cents over the last week and down about the same as the Triple-A average from last year.
