We in Berrien County will have several local millage proposals in front of us on the August 7th primary ballot. In order to help people understand what they'll be deciding, the Berrien County Republican Party will hold a forum on July 26th at the North Lincoln Center.
That's county GOP chairman Stephen Smith. The proposals are to fund county law enforcement and public safety, the 911 emergency system and county senior centers. A proposal to increase taxes for fixing Berrien County roads will be on the November ballot and won't be discussed at this month's event.
