Upton Blasts Affordable Care Act On House Floor



A vote is coming tomorrow in the US House to repeal President Obama's Affordable Care Act. On the House floor today, Congressman Fred Upton says Obama promised taxpayers that they wouldn't be forced to fund abortions and conscience rights would be protected with the healthcare reform.

Upton has admitted the vote is symbolic, as the Senate will not take it up. He adds even if they were to pass a repeal, the votes do not exist in either the House or Senate to override a presidential veto.
