It looks like the M-63 Niles Road bridge over I-94 will be reopened on schedule. MDOT's Nick Schirripa tells WSJM crews have made very good progress to repair the bridge since the project started, even with it starting a few weeks late.
Most of the work so far has been done at night, and Shirripa says he's not been aware of any problems encountered by work crews other than the high temperatures over the past few weeks.
