Free Car Seat Safety Check In Cass County

The Cass County Sheriffs Department is offering everyone a chance to get their car safety seats checked. Next Saturday, from eleven to one PM, you can stop by Mosier Well Drilling on M60 in Cassopolis where Safe Kids of Cass County will be doing the free checks. Police say that four out of five car seats are used incorrectly, so parents might want to stop by and find out if they're part of that statistic. Some qualifying visitors may also get a free car seat, which are being made available through a Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning grant.
