A new poll from the Kaiser Family Foundation has found 56-percent of Americans want Congress to back off and not repeal the Affordable Care Act now that it has been found to be constitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court. House Republicans, however, are still pushing toward that and Congressman Fred Upton says he's not hearing the same sort of reaction here in Michigan's 6th Congressional district. He held a tele-town hall last night to talk about it.
Upton says the U.S. House will hold a vote on July 11 when lawmakers return from their current break to repeal the healthcare reform law. The Kaiser poll found that while people don't want Congress to continue to beat the drum to repeal the law, only 41-percent have a favorable view of it.
