A Dowagiac area motorcycle club and a student group at Southwestern Michigan College are teaming up once again this summer to raise money for the Southwest Michigan Community Action Agency homeless shelter in Decatur. On August fifth, the second annual Ride for the Homeless takes place at SMC. Organizer Teresa Buschbacher tells WSJM that not only will motorcyclists be riding, but there will be all sorts of other events for the whole family:
She says that the Advocates for All Club of Southwestern Michigan College and Klutch It Up Klick are behind the ride, which will take place rain or shine. Anyone who wants to register to take part can do so through July 12th. The number to call is 340-9585.
