The Baroda Township Board this week voted to award the contract for an improvement project at Hess Lake Park. Nitz Construction has been hired for the 303 thousand dollar plan, which Township Clerk Wendy Shafer says will mean a variety of additions:
She says that this project has been in the works for quite some time now, and most of it is being paid for with a grant from the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund. It could all be finished next year.
