In Michigan Robocalls - Santorum Endorses Romney

Some voters in Michigan are starting to get robocalls that feature Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum speaking on a national political radio show four years ago. While that's not surprising, some might be confused by what they're hearing from the former U.S. Senator in the call if they listen long enough.

Listen:

Santorum at the time was campaigning against John McCain, who eventually became the Republican nominee. He is locked in a battle with Romney for the GOP nomination this fall and is leading all the polls in Michigan ahead of our primary next week, though the former Massachusetts governor and Michigan native is starting to close the gap with Santorum. It's not clear who is responsible for the calls, which were also used against Santorum in South Carolina.
