Ice Fishermen Rescued In Cass County

This is the Michigan Department of Natural Resources' free fising weekend to give people the chance for free to go out ice fishing... but before doing that you better be sure there's enough ice on the lake. Twice yesterday rescues had to be made in Cass County of people that were ice fishing but got stranded when the ice started to melt. The first rescue was on Juno Lake in Porter Township around 4:30 in the afternoon. A while later. two South Bend men realized they had no way back to shore on Eagle Lake, where they'd been all day.
