Whirlpool To Release Third Quarter Financial Results October 23

Whirlpool will release its third-quarter financial results in a little less than two weeks. The Benton Harbor-based appliance maker will release the numbers at 6 a.m. on October 23, with a conference call for investors to follow later in the morning. In July, Whirlpool reported earnings for the second quarter of $113 million and was projecting full-year diluted earnings per share of $5 to $5.50 with free cash flow between $100 million and $150 million. At that time, the company was projecting industry unit shipments in the U.S. to be flat to down 2%.
