Saint Joseph residents around the area of Napier Avenue and Langely will be losing their water service for almost a full day this week. City Engineer Tim Zebell tells us that due to a problem with some storm sewer work going on in the area, a contractor working on the Napier resurfacing will have to shut off water from eight AM to five PM on Thursday:
The properties affected will be those located on Napier Avenue from Niles to Langley -- about 25 or 30 homes. The city apologizes for the inconvenience, and anyone with questions can call 983-5541.
