Volunteers To Remove Invasive Plants This Weekend At Warren Dunes

16556689
Everyone’s invited to come out to Warren Dunes State Park this weekend to help pull out invasive garlic mustard plants before the native summer flowers are in full bloom for the year. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources needs volunteers to help in the effort to protect that Lake Michigan coast wild flowers, and advises those who go to wear sturdy shoes, as they will be working off trail. Those who go should be there at ten AM, and go to the picnic area just south of the campground. When entering the park, travel towards the park headquarters, and the picnic area will be on the left side of the road past the HQ.
