The Venetian Festival kicks off in Saint Joseph on Thursday. The annual event draws as many as 100-thousand people into the city each year...and President Mike Menestra says that everything gets well underway pretty early:
...And there will be additional concerts as the weekend goes on. Minestra also says that the car show, with as many as 250 entries this year, starts on Thursday along the bluff
There will also be lots of food all over the downtown. Restaurant's Row, set up by the Whitcomb, will feature selections from several local restaurants...and dozens more food vendors can be found below the bluff.
