A Shelbyville man is facing a long list of charges in Van Buren County after leading police on a chase of over 100 miles an hour shortly after midnight on Wednesday. Jason Wyatt was pulled over for having a defective license plate in Almena Township, and took off when a Van Buren County Sheriff's Deputy walked up to the car. He rolled the pickup truck several times to end the chase, and then took off on foot and was found hiding in a hot tub after Van Buren deputies called in help from the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department. Wyatt is charged with driving with a suspended license, driving under the influence of drugs, driving without valid plates and insurance, fleeing and eluding, resisting and obstructing and also had four warrants for his arrest from Barry County and the Michigan State Police.
