The Van Buren County Board of Commissioners will hold a budget hearing next Tuesday. County Administrator Doug Cultra tells us that the spending plan for next year will be balanced, with no plans for layoffs or cuts in services:
And that will be a focus during Tuesday's hearing. Cultra says that, due to declining revenues from property taxes, he's expecting those deficits in the next two budget years.
