Congressman Fred Upton's attendance record is perfect and continues to be. According to Congressional Quarterly, Upton was one of only nine members in both the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate to have a perfect record of attendance for the entire 112th Congress. Upton says voting is a duty that I do not take lightly. CQ reports the House held 1,602 roll call votes in 2011 and 2012 combined, while the Senate held 486.
