Fred Upton will be giving the weekly Republican address this weekend. He will be talking about finding bipartisan solutions in Washington to help create jobs and expand opportunities for families in Michigan and all over the U.S. Congressman Upton will not be the only lawmaker doing the address, as he will be joined by Congresswomen Susan Brooks of Indiana, Martha Roby of Alabama and Congressman Gregg Harper of Mississippi. Their message will echo a letter sent by House Republican leaders to President Obama on Thursday, identifying four areas from the State of the Union address where the House has already acted and more work can be done "without delay."
