Governor Jennifer Granholm on Wednesday ordered that United States flags throughout the state be lowered on Monday in honor of Army Sergeant Daniel A Frazier. of Saint Joseph. The Saint Joe High School grad was killed alongside one of his comrades on November 19th in the Zabul province, Afghanistan when a suicide car-bomber attacked his unit. He was assigned to the 782nd Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina...and had previously served in Afghanistan from January 2007 to April 2008. Funeral services will be held at eleven AM Monday, November 30th, at Michiana Christian Embassy in Niles, with burial in Arlington National Cemetery. Flags should be returned to full-staff on Tuesday.
