U.S. House Reauthorizes Tourism Promoting Program Brand USA



Travel and tourism in Southwest Michigan are set to get a boost from legislation that has passed the U.S. House and is now headed to the Senate. Congressman Fred Upton urged passage of the Travel Promotion, Enhancement, and Modernization Act of 2014 this week, which reauthorizes Brand USA. That program promotes tourism to the U.S. in international markets. Upton talked about a recent travel forum held in South Haven attended by chambers of commerce, local officials and tourism organizations.
