Three Oaks Village Manager Leaving

Pat Yoder is leaving his post as the village manager in Three Oaks at the end of next month. The village had previously been under the control of the state and emergency financial manager Pamela Amato before his hiring, which was one of her suggestions. Yoder will become the St. Joseph County administrator in Centreville after his contract expires in Three Oaks on March 31. He had previously held the same job from 1990 to 1994 and has held administrator jobs in Lake Odessa and Wexford counties during his career. Three Oaks is cited as an example of how a municipality can emerge from the control of a state emergency manager, doing so in roughly a year under Amato in 2008 and 2009.
