The Board of Directors has a New Member at Whirlpool

Whirlpool Corporation is appointing a new member to its board of directors. Executive Vice President of Safeway Incorporated Diane Dietz was announced Tuesday afternoon. Whirlpool Chairman Jeff Fettig says "Diane Dietz's history of leadership in the consumer products industry makes her an outstanding addition to our board." Dietz has been with Safeway since 2008, prior to that she came from the Procter and Gamble Company. Dietz holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Economics from Northern Illinois University.
