Kevin Riggs will be the new principal at St. Joseph High School starting next month. The incoming principal has held that job at Hastings High School and Galesburg-Augusta High School, and is a Mishawaka native. Riggs won the job over 35 other applicants. In addition to Hastings and Galesburg-Augusta, he has taught at Northridge High School in Middlebury, Indiana, Penn High School in Mishawaka and spent five years as the assistant principal at Portage Northern High School. He will start on September 1 and make $95,000 a year.
