Ice Breaker 2012 gets underway Friday in South Haven, running through Sunday. Greater South Haven Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kathy Wagaman says they've got an ice sculpting competition set for Saturday and she thinks the weather will stay just cold enough to avoid any problems.
The event is free. Among the highlights this year, along with the ice carving, is the annual Professional and Amateur Chili Cook-Off, ice skating lessons and demonstrations and the inaugural pub slide, featuring eleven locations with drink and food specials.
