Berrien County is being appointed a new Public Administrator. Attorney General Bill Schuette announced Monday, 51-year old Jim Riemland of St. Joseph will hold the oversight responsibilities in deceased estate probate matters where there are no heirs, unknown heirs or no will. Schuette says "Riemland brings tremendous integrity and experience to a position that requires the greatest regard of trust and care." Jim Riemland has practiced law, focusing on probate, estate planning, tax and real estate since 1994.
