A soldier from Berrien County was killed in Afghanistan last week. According to WSBT in South Bend, 25 year-old Army Specialist Daniel A Frazier, of Saint Joseph, died on November 19th as a result of a suicide bombing. Frazier was a 2003 graduate of Saint Joe High School, and was married just eight months ago. His father, who lives in Niles, told WSBT that Daniel's body was transferred back to the United States on Saturday at a ceremony in Delaware. Local arrangements were being planned at Brown Funeral Home in Niles. We'll have more details soon.
