Bids are now being accepted for the second phase of renovations at Southwestern Michigan College Niles Campus. The Board of Trustees opened bids this week for $3-million worth of work which includes the creation of a second student gathering place. Last August, the first phase, ushered in a new Student Service Center, science labs and created a faculty-student commons. Work to Phase II will begin immediately after graduation and completed before the fall semester.
