If you've driven Red Arrow Highway recently by the Meijer in Stevensville, you've no doubt noticed some equipment on the north side of the road clearing out trees and brush between the new Tractor Supply Company and the 5 O'Clock Sports Bar and Restaurant. There are tons of rumors flying on social media websites, Facebook in particular, of what could be going in. The top scuttlebut is it might be a Buffalo Wild Wings, though their corporate website lists no upcoming franchises in west or southwest Michigan. Lincoln Township officials tell WSJM they do not have any building permits for the property, and those aren't needed to clear off the land. We have calls and emails that have been placed with Buffalo Wild Wings and other officials from Lincoln Township as we try to see if there is any truth to the rumors. Other restaurants that were rumored for that area off of I-94 in recent years that haven't materialized include Sonic and Arby's.
