Ettl says there are currently 29 shelters being operated by the Red Cross in the areas hardest-hit by Sandy. Those will increase in number as the storm continues to pass. She says if you want to make a donation to help with the relief efforts, call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit any local Red Cross office.
