The owner of Guntle's Outdoor Outfitters in Dowagiac has pleaded guilty to a gun charge. 55-year old Joseph Guntle was sentenced last week to two years probation and over 200-days on tether for possession of a weapon by a felon, and maintaining a drug house. The "Herald-Palladium" reports police found a 12-gauge shot gun back in May in his home after an alleged altercation with a 14-year old cutting through his yard. Guntle isn't supposed to have the gun, since he was convicted in 2008 for cocaine possession. His attorney says he's very regretful about what happened.
