No Warming Shelters Yet, But Red Cross Ready If Needed

With dangerously cold weather settling in over the entire Upper Midwest through Tuesday night and into Wednesday, people are being urged to be careful when outside. Breeze Ettl is the executive director of the American Red Cross in Berrien County and says a lot of advice in this weather is common sense.

She went on to add if you're working to clear your driveway and sidewalk, be careful.

Ettl adds the Red Cross has staff members on standby to open warming shelters if the need arises. Wind chills through Tuesday are expected to be as cold as 45 degrees below zero.
