Niles Police Investigate Shooting Of Detroit Man

Niles Police say a 19-year-old Detroit man is recovering after being shot in the stomach last night. Jonathan Cook is currently in stable condition at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. He was found inside a home in the 200 block of North 6th Street in the city of Niles around 7:30 p.m. Cook is expected to make a full recovery, but police are looking for answers as to who shot him and why.
