New Anonymous Bullying Policy Coming To CCS

After the recent suicide of Coloma Community School student Elizabeth Schaus, Superintendent Terry Boguth met with several students and parents to find ways to combat bullying. What they came up with was a phone number that students could anonymously call to report bullying.

The district's four schools will each have a special phone number allowing students to call or text. Emails will also be accepted.

Because the system will allow them to act anonymous, Boguth thinks it will encourage more kids to step forward with bullying reports.
