Mr. Blossomtime is in Jail

Facing multiple charges, last year's Mr. Blossomtime is in jail. Berrien County Assistance Prosecutor Amy Byrd tells the "Herald-Palladium" that 19-year old Agape Mpamira is awaiting an April trial on charges of drunk driving, obstructing police and making false report of a felony. Mpamira faces a maximum of 7-total years on the charges. Mpamira's bond has been set at 10-percent of $7,500on the two felony charges and 10-percent of $5,000 on the drunk driving charge. Blossomtime Festival officials had no comment and were not aware of the situation.
