A meeting is coming up in Saint Joseph Township for everyone to learn more about an upcoming bridge project. The Niles Road exit of I 94 will be shut down in May as work is done to improve it, and the Michigan Department of Transportation's Nick Schirripa tells us that the agency will assemble its engineers at the Saint Joe Township Hall next Wednesday from three to six PM to answer any questions nearby residents might have:
The M-63 bridge over I-94 will be shut down on May 29th, and the 810 thousand project is scheduled to be complete in mid July. Detours and some I-94 ramp closures will be required. Schirripa says that the project was intentionally scheduled after the Senior PGA Championship has come through town so as to not cause any problems for it.
