Many Upset With Armored Vehicle Donation

There are a lot of people upset by the vote by the Berrien County Board of Commissioners to accept an armored vehicle from the Defense Department's excess supply for use by the sheriff's department. Several spoke up in opposition at Thursday's commission meeting.

That's Ray Kirkus of New Buffalo, who is among those opposed. Not all commissioners are on board, either. Marletta Seats and Cathy Thieneman voted against accepting the MAXXPro MRAP. Seats tells WSJM News she wants some more answers from the sheriff's department about the vehicle.
