The Michigan State Police Department will be accepting all of your unwanted prescription drugs later this week. On Saturday, between ten AM and two PM, you can take expired medications to any state police post, and drop them off anonymously. The MSP's Shanon Banner says that these materials should be disposed of so as to avoid posing a safety risk to anyone:
The drop off is totally anonymous, with no questions asked. This partnership between the State Police and DEA to properly dispose of unwanted medicines last year led to over 700 pounds of materials being collected in Michigan.
